You build your teams through 1st rd draft picks. It provides elite talent at a very cheap price for 5 years. Every team finds some gems in the mid/late rounds. Rams are no better than any other team, and the vastly overrated Les Snead has more high rd busts than most GMs. Trading for Cooks was stupid, as he is already washed up. Rams didn't have a 1st rd pick that year, and they chose Gerald Everett in the 2nd. Ugh. In 2018, here are the terrific mid rd gems we uncovered: Noteboom, Allen, Franklin, Kiser, Obo, Kelly????? So yeah, we got Kupp in 3rd rd in 2017 and JJ is a solid player. 2016 mid rd picks were Higbee & P Cooper in the 4th. 2015 3rd & 4th rd gems are J Brown, Mannion & Donnal. So in the past 5 years these mid rd gems are Kupp, Higbee, JJ. I'm not including Reynolds as a gem, he is JAG.

Im sorry, but that is totally insufficient.

You rarely back up your assertions despite being presented evidence in the past that you are wrong. It's very puzzling.

"You build your teams through 1st rd draft picks." -- So we went to the SB last year but haven't had a 1st round draft pick since 2016. In light of that, is your assertion factually true? There is actually only one way to build a team?

"Rams are no better than any other team" -- Ok, do you have anything to back that up? I've presented evidence before and so have others that the Rams are actually at the top of the league in hit rate. I'm curious on what you have that contradicts that.

"the vastly overrated Les Snead has more high rd busts than most GMs." -- Hmmm intriguing! Does he? I'm very curious on this. If you know this as fact, then you should be able to tell me how many high round busts the other GMs have versus how many Snead has. How many does NE have? Philly? Green Bay? Snead? If you actually knew this info it would be great discussion material.

"Im sorry, but that is totally insufficient." -- Ok...what is sufficient? What is a league average hit rate for 3rd and 4th round picks? What in your mind defines a successful mid round pick - i.e. must they be a star, a starter, or a big contributor?
