They have the best runningback in the NFL. They should run him and get him screens and use him however they can to move the ball.
My problem is when you run and the other team has decided that they are going to take it away. You don't just keep having 3 and outs or 6 and outs and let the other team back into the game.
Never give up a down. Run to be successful not to occupy time and space, unless you clearly are in a situation that mathematically the other team doesn't have enough time if you run it.
That is one of the reasons the Vikings are the best team in the NFL is they have the best runningback, but they are good in all the areas. All 3 levels on defense. The Best runningback in the NFL, a good tight end. A pair of pro bowl quality WRs. A top 15 QB. They are loaded like no other team and have play makers who can make game changing plays on both sides of the ball.
