and I say that as a fan who gets hysterical when a team gets too 'conservative'.... when they have other options... BUT...
That's the whole point... 'having other options'. I don't think the Vikings do, talented as they are. I think the Vikings are staying within themselves and basically saying "Here's what we do well - come and beat us if you can".
