but in the Phillips scheme, everyone gets a gap and Brockers should never had to hold an edge against outside runs. His job was to literally beat his man 1 v 1 because the rest of the line was taking on AD.
I think Brockers did a fine job, but it wasn't like he is irreplaceable. And like I said earlier, I'm sure the Rams will notice a bit of a dropoff from his production, like you noticed. Personally I just cannot justify the cost.
