I think Brockers has been a good (and sometimes underappreciated) Ram for 8 seasons but you're right, it's likely time to move on.
I like Fox more than you do I think and feel he can take on a few more snaps per game (averaged 22/game this year). I actually thought he was an UFA and am glad they can retain him another year.
I agree that Gaines is likely "a 2-down space eater" but I think that's exactly the role they wanted him for. I'm sure he'll get stronger in year 2. His issue is trying to improve his get off a bit more.
I see DL as a position, as you suggest, that could be ripe to find an older veteran free agent for a year while drafting a guy in the 3rd or 4th rounds they can develop.
On the Edge I think it's one of the main areas for consideration at #52 overall in the Draft along with OL. Ebukam is entering a contract year which is usually a good thing and I think Matthews situationally one more year will still contribute. He averaged 47 snaps per game and that should probably be more like 30 for 2020.
