I agree. There is risk. But there's just also risk in pretty much any of the options discussed at LT. Bringing back a declining Whitworth is risky. Or moving Evans there. Or plugging Noteboom in. Or adding a veteran castoff. Or drafting a LT at #52.
They liked Noteboom coming out and were pleased with his progress as a rookie backing up AW and getting starters reps weekly in 2018. They seemed pleased with how he did week 17 that year. And starting him at LG next to AW was part of their plan to groom him to be the LT.
Anyway, yeah, a lot of question marks there. And hopefully since October he's been working on his upper body strength which was a need for him and any young OL regardless. I'm just saying dismissing him and saying he won't be
physically ready to play due to the injury likely isn't true at all.
