I feel like I've read a lot of posts that Noteboom won't be ready, we have to ease him in as a backup, etc. Why? Kupp wasn't eased back in. And I certainly thought he would be. I thought he'd miss all of OTAs, be very limited in camp, have playing time limited the first few games of 2019 (maybe even sit the first 2 games). But no such thing happened. He played 68 snaps in week 1 @CAR and played the 5th most snaps on offense for the season.
Now every injury is different of course. But fact is Noteboom was hurt a full month earlier in the season than Kupp was. But he somehow will miss OTAs and camp?
I'm not saying you put Noteboom in stone as a 2020 starter. And the experience factor of only starting 6 games this year is valid. I'm just saying the dismissal of him because of the injury doesn't seem right.
