RAMpant Defense
Callahan makes a lot of sense. McVay and Callahan have good chemistry from the Washington days. McVay needs someone he trusts and respects to bounce ideas off of and keep him centered. Plus, Callahan is the O-line guru.
Why don't they keep Wade around and find a young heir that Wade can groom? The defense needs a young and energetic guy to light a fire in them and get them to play more consistently, but why throw Wade away? He's one of the greatest defensive minds ever. He's not going to be easy to replace.
Wade’s D’s have finished anywhere between 13th and 20th in his 3 years as Rams DC.
Despite having a loaded D roster. That shouldn’t be hard to replace, if you ask me.
I’m just gonna say it. Wade is a very likable person, but he’s been coasting on his reputation for years.
I’m a results oriented person and I’ve gotta say that Wade’s results have been kinda mediocre for 3 years. Again, despite a loaded D roster and bringing him many players that he’s wanted from both draft, trade, and FA for 3 years.
After 3 years of Fisher’s mediocrity I spoke up. Took the Rams 3 more agonizing years to do the right thing with Fisher. Sure hope they don’t repeat that mistake with Wade. Sigh...
