I was nodding until your last statement about our team lack of prioritizing the DL. Last year we paid Suh a ton to play next to AD. AD was drafted high and is now the best paid DL in the league. Brockers was a first round pick and makes mega bucks. We just drafted a new NT last year. We may not be throwing picks at our lines like we do at DB, but I wouldn't say we really skimp here. Another thing is we only use 3 DLs at any one time so we need fewer players for these 3-4 formations. We are supposed to be able to blitz one of the 4 LBs on every play to create a 4 min rush which adds the surprise element. We don't really have those middle blitzers to make the scheme hum. Add a monster MLB who can blitz and swallow up any runners is something we sorely lack.

Assuming that we lose Fowler to the cap but are able to extend Littleton, are you happy with our front 7 prospects remaining? I’m not. Snead’s got some work to do there, I’m afraid, although I do think it’s doable in one off-season.
