yes he deserves criticism for the plays you point
I agree with you some people do want to make excuses for him.
However, just like when he messes up we also should acknowledge when he does well. Last night hasn’t changed my opinion of him. Rather it just confirms that good QBs don’t always fall apart when they don’t have a run game, and when they are pressured. So in that regard Goff played significantly better than he had all season.
Last night he did not fall apart and just comparing that with how poorly he played against the Cowboys that is progress
Damn shame he didn’t get a chance to win it for us and get a chance to hurt the hated 49ers
