I know there are Bunches of big plays in a game that can make the difference.
What I'm saying is this:
That play was the single biggest swing of points in the game. The Rams were driving for at least 3, if not 7 points and SF got 7 going the other way.
Not a knock on Goff at all. In fact I like his play and want to see him around for many years. Just reminded me of that playoff game against the Vikes in 1975 when the Rams Ron Jesse failed to get the TD and the Vikes blocked the FG and ran for a TD. Swing of 10-14 points right there, ended up being the difference in that game. It's hard to come back against differences like that.
The D's failure to get crucial stops has been an Achilles heel all year. Need someone from a defensive team, like Pittsburgh or Baltimore, to take over the DC position.
