To live that close to Hollywood and not get distracted by the glam. Living with neighbors that are models, actors, musicians, etc probably takes your eye off the ball. Not to mention the beach and other chill vibes.
The analogy that comes to mind is Corbin Bernson's character in Major League. Plenty of talent but also many thoughts about life after the game.
Some were concerned about the celebrity aspect that some of the Rams embraced after the early success McVay brought. Looks like those concerns weren't unfounded. It's fine for these guys to enjoy it all while they can but LA, like most cities is pretty fickle. You can fart around all you want as long as you keep winning. But let it go to your head to the point that you get blown out on national tv a few times? The fans will turn on you.
