that missed block; Weddle

December 16, 2019 09:41AM
I forgot about that missed block, but it was HUGE.....he looked lost, looking for someone to block and walked right past him to Goff. Brutal miss.

Weddle - nailed it, his 'wise sage' act is sickening. He is a glorified cheerleader, loves the camera, social media, etc. His play is beyond bad. He missed SO many tackles yesterday, it's absurd. On Pollard's run he flat out embarrasses himself. But he does it many times the entire game.

I honestly feel like McVay has known this team wasn't in a great place for many weeks and he is trying to hold on/work through it. I think there was more to launching Peters/Talib then just play. I think he is in an uncomfortable situation with Gurley. I don't think the Gurley situation will look the same in 2020. Tough conversations coming.

I think McVay is where Shanahan was the past two season: working out some issues on the team to get to great football. I'm not sure he keeps Wade.
