Too many coaches lock in on playing time decisions. I think it should be more fluent and opportunities given to players from time to time to take a look.
I get continuity and not benching a player for one bad play or bad game, but I believe lots of players don't get chances that could be diamonds in the rough because they just know how to play or have heart.
Too much focus placed on 40 times and bench presses.
