and was easily their BEST game this year. If they had been playing like that we'd be 10-2 also...but alas,
it is what it is.
I'll take it tho...the best we can do is win out and let the cards fall where they may.
Those EndArounds are what has been keeping the 6man fronts off balance....we stopped giving the EndArounds earlier in the year. imo
Simply being consistent in
handing the ball off to the end around guy gets this team back into its standard mode of offense...
btw - This OL situation is fantastic in that these players are all
cap savers (Corbett, Evans, Edwards, Brewer, Note boom, Allen, etc)...Noteboom can play LT next year but will start PUPed so I hope Whit plays a 1yr deal or we use one of the kids at LT and plug some more rookies in. Think about it...we have heard NOTHING from Evans all year and Edwards was far ahead of him...now Evans is playing the RT against mean pass rushers and is holding his own. I see us drafting 2 more OL next year or 1 drafted & 1 UDFA...added to this young group.
The Rams will save alot of money on this young OL group....money that will go to resigning other players. The OL has got to be the place where they save money for the other big names need to be resigned.
