He was on with Adam Schien this morning and Schein said "your Rams" to him and he smirked and said "yeah, my Rams, ha."
Seems that KC holds a grudge against the Rams organization. Anyone ever see him with other Rams players at the games?
I don't blame him. He got vilified JZ style during contract talks. He played 2000 post-back surgery yet was treated as if he were malingering. Carter is one of the Rams that JZ (and Martz at that point) turned on in the public eye. In his case it worked. They tried the same with Kurt during his extension talks that year, but it did not work as well as it did with Carter.
I don’t blame anyone for having hard feelings if the think they got a dirty deal.
I do think holding a grudge against an organization, where the guys who screwed you are long gone, is unhealthy.
KC won a ring wearing horns. My bet is Demoff and McVay would embrace him as a Ram if KC showed interest.
But I can’t speak for him, I only know what I would do and have done in similar situations in life.
He helped them get a ring then they publicly treated him like crap.
My being a fan of the Rams only goes so far on this one. GMs are not supposed to act like that.
Who is THEY?
Not Demoff, not McVay, not Snead.
It was all on JZ, Shaw, and Martz. They are long gone.
I see your point, but that's the Rams he knew. Left a bitter taste, looks like.
That's one of the many reasons a GM should never act that way.
