I mean, any glimmer from our players would now be much appreciated.
Goff
Gurley
Henderson (more snaps please to determine his Rams future)
Edwards
Evans
Corbett (would be a huge bonus)
Matthews (needs a strong finish, IMO)
Fowler (ditto)
Ebu (dare we hope?)
Obo (c’mon, Wade)
Long (at least more snaps, dammit)
Weddle (sadly, I think Father Time has caught up with him)
GZ (yes, GZ. Hasn’t been nearly his best season)
Hekker (He’s backslid this year)
Hav (whenever he finally gets healthy)
Here’s a biggie. Will Wade demonstrate that he is the best possible DC for the Rams? Or should McVay find a young and aggressive lion to take the reins?
Many of the above will surely be here next year, but it would be very nice to see a confidence building resurgence as we close out the season.
Others could use these games to justify returning in ‘20, at least as starters. (Matthews, Weddle)
Still others might get a possible finger hold on a starting position in ‘20. And make FA and draft decisions for Snead/McVay a bit easier.
Our swagger is long gone. We need to get back to basics and concentrate on execution and it should start now vs these Cards. Only then can the Rams begin to regain some semblance of their former status.
Oh, how the Mighty have fallen...
