I wasn't suggesting we cut them, just pointing out those are the only three we can cut and gain decent cap space without a lot dead money. The only one I think they will cut is Weddle. He didn't play anywhere near his contract.
The only one above those three that seems likely is Clay Matthews. $2M dead money, but $3.75M savings. I would do that also. How many times do we have to watch him run straight up field hoping for a sack only to watch the QB or RB run right past him on the inside.
After that there isn't a whole lot of cap savings. That's the point of the article....in 2020 we are stuck with what he have. IMO unlikely we cut anyone with a salary above Matthews.
