While they absolutely should not have been embarrassed like that at home I agree with your overall sentiment. The Ravens have won their last four games by an average of 43-11. Three of the four vs. good teams. The Rams have a lot of work to do going forward but they are hardly in a disastrous situation.
I looked up several of the top coaches- Reid, Harbaugh, Carroll, Tomlin, etc. What do they have in common? About 1/3 of their seasons are 9-7 or worse. While before the season I thought the Rams "stepping back" this year would be to 11-5 and a 3rd seed in the playoffs I still think they'll finish 9-7. I have no delusions they're making the playoffs now but the reality is if Seattle beats Minnesota at home and the Rams beat Arizona they are one game out of it with four to play...
