Rams have likely had both those guys on the loss list for this offseason. No way they were going to keep Brock he'll get his payday elsewhere. Same with Fowler, it was obvious the Rams didn't trust paying him, that he'd test the FA market and they know that particular market is insane.
Want another obvious one that maybe some haven't realized yet (but they should)? NRC. They're not going to pay him $4.5M next year to be inconsistent. They'll go young in the slot and roll that money somewhere else.
Weddle too btw. His cap hit next year is $.5M if they cut him so no way they'll keep him around when he's not been able to live up to expectations. He can turn that around maybe with strong play down the stretch and hopefully keeping this team's heads up but he's on that cut list that some are gonna be shocked by barring a huge change in the remaining schedule.
