The Rams cannot be as conservative as they were last week. The Ravens offense is not the Steelers or Bears
They will have to ask more of the oline pass blocking and by extension Jared Goff. I have no confidence that they are up to either of those challenges
What I think could work is if the Rams are balanced in this game. Forget having Goff throw 40+ times... that is a recipe for disaster. Ints, fumbles blowout
However, if the Rams can manage to keep things balanced say Goff 20 to 25 passes and 30 or more runs combined between Gurley/Brown/Henderson they can be in this game. They absolutely cannot have the ints and they must get at least 2 TD passes out of Goff.
The defense needs its best game of the year. Disciplined and focused on stopping the Ravens run game. If the Rams can get a lead... even better because it might force the Ravens to be one dimensional and throw throw throw mode. We will need a couple of TOs to get in the Ravens heads as well
We haven't had any returns for TDs it would be nice to get one here. Maybe a defensive score too. I'm glad this game is in LA. That will help
I think the Rams can win this game but a lot has to go right and unlike last week... Goff has to be a bigger part of the game plan.
I have no confidence that he is up to it because he just plays so poorly again good defenses. The Rams will have chances to open it up when they play the Hawks, Cowboys and Cardinals (twice) but these games against the Ravens, 49ers.... yikes
We shall see... I'm all up for surprises.
