I say you're right about that but most leave of absence law s have to do with medical reasons.
Here's the things The Rams are the Rams and they are in charge and operation as apparrently approved by the leaders of thier organisation.
They have the right to make positive exception on behalf of thier employee who apparently can or has verified the situation.
They may even have thier player relations staff envolved and reporting back how serious this is and offering thier support as an organisation.
I think they probably are going to at least meet with Robert and give him some detail on gameplan.
The fact that he is a model member of the organization factors in the the consideration they are giving him.
It will be interesting if it becomes a reoccurrinance of another player after another asking for leave.
That is a concern .
It must be a fairly drastic situation if it's not a close relative with an illness.
Again I agree I doesn't have to be a hospice death bed situation for them to support him.
Hope it isn't.
Hope he plays Monday but the other 52 need to all step up and play their best game of the year on Monday.
