Or, at least that was the argument earlier in the season. But I agree...that was brutal and we were fortunate to be playing against a team with an inept offense.
A couple of things:
1) McVay may, in fact, have learned to address this front. But our inexperienced OL and/or depleted roster may have hindered execution.
2) Addressing it may be possible against the likes of Carolina, but Chicago's defense is another story altogether.
3) I'm not so sure that Goff is recognizing/ processing the defensive front and understanding what his options are. Absent the 4th quarter, he seemed awfully confused for most of the game.
