My take on this subject is that a good QB, when the O'line is bad, can still make plays on the few plays when they actually do have time.
The bad one's are ruined for the whole game and even when they finally do get some time are too flustered to find the open man, or miss him when he's open.
Goff seems to be the latter. Even when he gets time now he's a mess.
Warner maybe didn't have a poor line, but coaches who left him unprotected. He would get beaten up all day, but give home any small window and he could burn you.
This is simply not true, he was leading the NFL in yards through week 9 and still had this team 12th on offense, even without any sort of running game. He's the only one that has been making plays to keep this team above .500 and is essentially a missed chippy by GZ from being 6-3. Some of you try to make him out to be this complete bust, but it's just a false narrative when you step back and look at the bigger picture. The turnovers are what is killing his QB rating and most of those are due to a line that is getting him killed.
No one here is trying to say he's playing great, he isn't ...he's just in a horrible situation right now and is battling through it, it's amazing that he still has yet to miss anytime due to injury except for one play last week, but I'm afraid if they don't get the protection fixed that health streak won't last long.
