is because the OL is a mess. And it got worse yesterday. No one was running in the 4th quarter behind Corbett, Edwards and Blythe. They just aren't. Not Gurley, not Henderson, not Eric Dickerson circa 1984.
I get that you are frustrated 2k, but the Rams feel they are doing what they need to do to get the most out of him. Its fairly obvious that Gurley has resisted that plan up until just recently and is now accepting it.
There are several teams that run backfield by committees, the Rams are now one of those teams. And no, Henderson and Brown aren't Gurley, but even Gurley isn't Gurley anymore.
That said, it will be interesting to see with literally nothing left to lose this season, if they just go to Gurley and say: if you want the ball 25 times, its yours. Because 1 more loss and this season is in the books at week 11.
