What if overuse costs Gurley a whole game? Or multiple games? Or the balance of his career? Or hell, maybe the ability to walk without a cane after retirement?

Look, I’m frustrated, too. We all are. But it is what it is. We need to plan for life without Gurley ASAP. The Rams are painted into a corner on this Gurley knee issue. We need to accept it and plan accordingly.

Not buying it, at least the way it's being told right now.... I don't think another six to eight carries would have killed him or ruined him for the year.... he had 18 carries a couple weeks ago on artificial turf and seemed ok. This was a tight game and he was starting to finally look like the Gurley of old and then he's just pulled the last 16 minutes of the game?
