It will be interesting to see. Personally I didn't like Jackson at all coming out of college because he just wasn't a very good thrower. He's still not, his mechanics are all over the place. But he's an undeniable playmaker running and throwing.
I think about guys like Vick and Randall Cunningham. Those two both made big strides as passers from year one to year two but then sort of leveled off after that. Vick especially. But each did keep running a lot through their 6th seasons. Jackson doesn't need to become an All-Pro passer but if he can uptick his passing ability some more in year 3 and get away from running the ball 12-15 times per game he could last a while.
