Yesterday I asked at what point do the Rams start thinking about moving some of their players early that they won't be able to sign or extend for premium draft picks. The Pats did this with Brandin Cooks and Chandler Jones getting a 1st and 2nd respectively.
An alternative to this, since very few want to move Kupp, is could the Rams consider moving Robert Woods?
The Pats just paid a 2nd round draft pick for Mohamed Sanu. He has a similar contract to Woods but is a far inferior WR. Could the Rams get a 1st round pick and more while freeing up $8M in next year's cap?
They could get premium draft picks while freeing up cap space for Littleton, Fowler, or our big name free agents (Kupp, Johnson, Everett, etc.) coming up in 2021. And we could plug in Josh Reynolds.
I'm just kicking around ideas. How crazy am I?
