He's been the biggest disappointment on the OL to me, too. All else being equal if he was the 2017 and 2018 version of Havenstein they'd be in a much better place as a unit. He's always struggled with really good edge rushers and probably always will. But his general mediocrity and all the penalties need to stop. Maybe games vs ATL and CIN and then the bye will help straighten him out.
Early returns on Edwards were pretty good. Maybe in 2020 Edwards starts at RG next to him.
I see Noteboom and Edwards as tackles.
Why waste them at guard? It is easier to find good guards than it is to find good tackles.
This assumes that NB comes back fine from surgery.
