Not that I’m calling him a Pro Bowler or anything.
But he had a very decent first start at LG. And I’m sure that he is only gonna get better and better. Kromer May have found his starting LG for the next 10 years. We’ll see.
Allen and Blythe are still problems and I don’t know what Kromer can or wants to do at those 2 positions. Sure hope he can pull a rabbit out of his hat for the 2nd half of the season, ‘cause I think that the rest of this Ram O is still the same one as ‘18 and just handcuffed by an ineffective OL.
Kromer just might have a gem from among several of his current backups. Fingers crossed.
Yes, I liked what I saw from him yesterday, but I'm trying to temper it because we played a weak defensive front, BUT for a rookie in his first start....I'm not complaining
Rams had their best pass pro of the year and only allowed a 10.4% pressure rate and zero sack...definitely something to build on.
I think the weak link right now is Blythe, he just looks lost at times and lacks quickness and reaction..... I think this is exactly why we targeted Corbett and won't be shocked if he replaces either Allen or Blythe at some point if they can't improve the run blocking... Rams need to go find a mean SOB to put in the middle of that line....trades are still available
