"hey we put up some points in 2 of the losses, but gave up a ton more on defense, so if we can shore up the defense..." plus with all the defensive injuries lately - Talib, Johnson, Matthews.. maybe they just figured the D needed more help.. ..and it might be too costly or not good enough O help available..
