saw him a bit as living in LA gives you a front row on UCLA
He had some bright moments. The Bruins seem to be in a downtrend and that started about the time Young's defensive brothers just didn't get their work done. It's possible that Young had some better upside, but I recall seeing this as a group fail, and Young just wasn't able to shine given the lapses around him
Clearly, the club felt that some LB help is mandatory. Samson hasn't had impact. Reeder could be a developing player, and he seems to keep stuff in front of him, but an impact guy? Not yet.
Will or can Young be that?
