Just my 2 cents, but I think McVay was sold a bill of good by Kromer and Snead. Now, maybe the plan all along was to look ahead to 2020.
If Kromer did sign off on the likes of Allen, Edwards & Evans, then I would look to replacing him with Bill Callahan who should be available when the Redskins clean house. I believe Kromer is a strong OL Coach, but IMO, Callahan is better and Allen is not only getting blow up at the point of attack, but was responsible for the injury to Joe Noteboom by pushing his guy who rolled up on Boom.
Kromer may be a good coach, but from what we've seen he's not the best judge of talent. I've been watching Allen on the field and on TV, and I don't get it. He just isn't a starter. Anytime a big DT wants to push him back into Goff, it looks easy. Nice college player, doesnt belong in the pros as a starter.
