Well, yeah, the Rams had a plan and we all know what it was. Emphasis was. Lol.
The results on the field have perhaps necessitated a change of plans.
For example, I no longer see Allen as a lock to be starting C next year. Heck, he may not continue to start there THIS year unless his play improves PDQ.
Boom may not be ready to start at LOT by September.
Edwards (or Evans) have yet to prove that they could become NFL starters at either OG or OT.
Hav’s regression is an enigma. Didn’t he go one season without a holding penalty not so long ago? Now he’s a turnstile and penalty machine.
I think max has an excellent point in that all 5 OL positions are kinda up in the air for ‘20. A lot of guys are in a prove it situation because I guarantee you that Snead/McVay/Kromer are NOT gonna tolerate this kind of OL performance in ‘20. This current OL is handcuffing Goff, 3 good RB’s, all 3 excellent WR’s, and 2 good TE’s. Simply unacceptable.
Just my 2 cents, but I think McVay was sold a bill of good by Kromer and Snead. Now, maybe the plan all along was to look ahead to 2020.
