I like Vinny's writing. But this is simplistic. If you are going to analyze the game than consider opponent and game situation amongst other variables as well. This seemed more emotional of Vinny than logical.
What is one common trait in almost all these games where Gurley usage is less--that Six man wide front.
Agree...after watching the game on TV compared to watching it live, it changed my perspective completely..... I honestly think these reporters would write much better pieces if they actually went back and watched the game on DVR. Gurley looked fine yesterday his usage was dictated by the game flow, but when he got the ball he looked pretty damn good. His two TD runs were classic Gurley.
I've noticed I notice so much more when I watch the game a second time.
