I hope the Rams are intentionally minimizing Gurley's production in the first few games of the season in hopes that he will be at full strength for the last 7 games. (Seahawks (week 14), Cowboys (week 15), 49ers (week 16), Cardinals (week 17), Divisional Playoff, NFC Championship game, Superbowl).
And if that's what they're trying I also hope it works.
