Maybe it's best to just grind the juice outta TG...and ride him till he breaks. feed him the ball like last year and ride him til he breaks down in the playoffs and then do the same to the next RB. This strategy
may let TG & the other backup RBs get & stay in rhythm and momentum...when they play. imo
Also, it's probably what they want...
"it's better to burn out, than to fade away"...kinda thing. I don't mind them giving the player all the carries he wants and just trying to enforce your will in the running game by really meaning on it like last year. I think we'd get better results doing that...and it would open up the pass & PA passing game a lot more. If teams take away the outside runs ...go inside....if they bring another guy in the box...pass.
I'm just saying that TG looks like he can't get in his rhythm doin this timeshare in the backfield....
and I'd rather TG go out playing his game than getting TG in measured doses.
Let
him play....and if it shortens his career
- but it's the way TG wants it - then, so be it.
btw - I'm only saying this
if TG
wants the load back like it used to be and the chance to get into rhythm like the way we fed him the rock the last 2 seasons.
