which, I believe, the majority of this board believe is quite legitimate. For me... it may be, but I still have questions.

First all, and last night was a good example, Gurley isn't 'just' being stopped he's getting stuffed. The majority of the time there is simply nothing there... substitute Sayers, or Dickerson, or Elliott in there and the run is still not going anywhere.

Secondly... I think back to our opponents and some of the 'gapping holes' they took advantage of and I can think of a mere handful of times Gurley has had that luxury.

Now yes, sure, Gurley doesn't seem to be what he once was... but compared to the combo (IMHO), of a poor blocking OL and some less than innovative or even timely run play calling I can't bring myself to blame Gurley first. - JamesJM
