It looks like he is running more cautiously than then last two seasons. Might be the knee, the blocking or something else. The only time he looked totally like himself was when he got that pitch going left near the goal line against the Saints. On that play he looked like he was determined to score and it was a thing of beauty. Many times he's getting hit in the backfield as he is getting the ball and you're tight any great RB would have no chance on the play. As a side note I would never put this Elliott character in the same sentence with Sayers and Dickerson. But, your point is well taken. It looks to me the McVay is really sharing the running load by subbing in Brown while giving his 3 WRs handoffs. Even Goff has a couple of runs last game one which was a designed bootleg. I don't know if it's because TG30 is barely hanging in there with a career threatening injury or if McVay is really saving him for the playoffs. Either way, we're 3-0 and since I don't play Fantasy football I'm okay with it.
