So far it looks like he may have lost a top end gear, but he's still a top productive back and it shows.
He has 160 yards on 30 carries (avg. 5.3 a carry, 7th among RBs with 25 or more carries). He has 4 receptions on 5 targets which just means his targets are down but that's not going to remain like that. He also has 2 TDs in 2 games on a team that has its choice of playmakers.
He is a big part of the mix still, is still very productive, and yet isn't being made to carry the whole burden.
The team also has a very good RB in Brown, whose inside running, slash through traffic style is a perfect complement to Gurley.
There's really nothing to complain about, it's going well.
Rams are 7th in the league in rushing yards and 1st in rushing TDs. Nothing is wrong here.
