I think really your highlighted comment on Hagar really says it all. When we don't notice an OL, that's good. When we don't EVER notice a LB … that is damning.
You're right about the good plays. We had some indeed. Quite a few. Maybe I'll look at some of those, perhaps next week.
But I guess my point would again be that we certainly
CAN stop the run. We proved that in the playoffs last year. We just don't often enough actually do it.
That has been attributed to lack of discipline. Such an attribution could be a cop out. But I think when you look closely, you see that it is actually what happens.
