I thought Dakota Allen was the type of player that woulda replaced Hager. I feel Hager is just there cuz of his experience - which is HUGE -
however, i'd rather have an athletic guys that flies around and makes tackles but is occasionally wrong - that can be taught/coached up. Or heck, just use Rapp as that LB/S hybrid and move Littleton over to that heavier LB role. I just like the speed concepts of using fast athletic LBs even SSs.
UNLESS...our team is getting mauled or gashed due to being overpowered in the run game....I'd go lighter/faster with my LBs....just my thots.
Reeder may be the guy. Read up on him--there's a lot more to him than you would assume just on face value.
I said this before but during the PS games, Reeder got the green helmet dot and was putting guys in position, Allen never got that. Which looks like it means that as rookies, Reeder knew the D and Allen didn't yet.
