To me it's about the Rams having a top-5 points differential once again. They were +143 (3rd in the league) last year after being +149 (t-3rd) in 2017.

The Rams could end up scoring 50 fewer points this year. And to that I would say 'big deal'- as long as the defense gives up 50-60 fewer points.

I'd like to see their scoring defense improve from 20th last year to about 10th this year, which would mean shaving off about 50 points allowed.
