Honestly I think your definition of "inept" needs to be looked at if you think it adequately describes our depth OL. And your memory of how guys played last year is flawed as well if you think Demby played better than he has played this year. The difference you are not accounting for: he is playing EARLIER against better competition.
Last year to this year... Boom was better than anyone we have this year, in terms of his ability to handle change and step in to different spots quickly. But after him? Yeah. I think this year's depth is better because you have Edwards looking like a steal and Evans improving every game, plus some others like Kolone and Brewer playing earlier snaps vs better competition and holding their own.
Where we have probs is Center. Neary got trucked last game, and we don't have a young guy like Allen sitting back there learning.
