Keep a pulse on where the surplus of players you're interested are, as well as where there is need for players where your roster is strong. I'm sure he knows which teams are looking for a WR or CB for example. And he's probably talked to them just like he has discussed things with teams that are strong on the bottom of their OL chart.
Granted, OL isn't something teams tend to be strong on down the depth chart, but non-fits factor in too, the types who might do better in our zone approach. So I am sure he is doing that, of course it might not bear any fruit but we'll have to wait and see. And if nothing happens there is still the cut downs and inevitably some players out there who might be able to help out.
Agreed, Merlin.
Just pointing out that the Rams seem loaded at 5 different positions that will require agonizing cuts. An exceptionally fertile scenario for potential mutually beneficial trade opportunities.
Rams only need one desperate team at any of those 5 positions to secure a win, win, win result for all parties.
Honestly, I’m having a hard time remembering when the Rams were loaded so deeply at so many positions. Would be a shame if Snead can’t pull this off.
