I know what you mean about contracts but I just can't see them signing him to that two-year deal and then jettisoning him a couple months later. Maybe Peterson plays well enough that either (a) they could trade him for a 7th to a CB needy team or (b) they just decide to carry 6 corners.
Gawd! I would hate to lose any of Wolford, Peterson, or Williams, 93.
Having such a loaded roster forces excruciating cuts come September.
