This “game” was Exhibit A for reducing preseason games to only two. Hard to watch the recording, even when skimming. I can’t imagine sitting in the stands and paying for this crap at the same rate as a real game.
I sure hope that the Ram coaches and players can get some good feedback from the tape of this fubar, because it’s gonna be painful to watch, man.
Clearly, there is a LOT of work to do in almost every area for these backups. That’s kinda what’s so disappointing to me, I think. It’s not just one or two players or position groups. It’s almost everybody, dammit!
Yeah, it was a preseason game, but I sure expected a few more flashes from some of our youngsters. I was mostly underwhelmed, frankly, except for Rapp.
Coach Kromer, in particular, has his work cut out for him. Man, I really expected more from Edwards and Evans, in particular. Sigh...
I’ll close by merely saying that many players have miles to go if they ever hope to be even decent NFL starters. On the other hand, there may be a few pleasant surprises where a couple or three unheralded kids beat out better known players and make the 53.
