but IMO the way a fan looks at a game like that is not the way the coaching staff does......like I said IMO they are looking not so much for big plays and well played games....they are putting guys into spots that allows them to look at the basics of the player and his position...how is he reacting out there (how does a guy handle a $%#^up)...are his fundamentals proper....is he running his routes deep enough...is he cutting tightly enough...IMO the hardest group to gauge would be the O-Line simply because they have zero work together (yes they have practiced) but it is still very limited....
I thought overall they played up to what I would expect...just as I expect improvement from game to game until the season starts....The biggest thing to me was no injuries, so at least these guys have a chance to show that improvement....
Now the deal with pricing for these games is another thing...IMO should be no more than $40 or so and range down to like $10 in the nose bleed sections....IMO they make their money come regular season and beyond.....But again who am I to determine what they want to sell the tickets for.....I guess they are satisfied with it as it is.....
