I said Gurley had his own problems too toward the end of the season.
The line ALSO had issues.
It really was both.
In terms of the broader question---can a back play well if the OL is a problem? That's much more case by case. Yes that can happen, and/or a good RB can improve line play. If that weren't true, Steven Jackson would never had had a good season from 2007 on.
