Is whether Gurley's going to miss games or disappear during the post season. He did that last year so they just need to fix it.
No more bellcow workhorse fantasy stud BS. McVay made that clear. They want Gurley tuned up for the playoff run.
According to Polian, there’s no reason to believe that’s not possible.
Exactly. He has an arthritic condition (which btw probably was an issue in 2006 too). To put it all down in black n white. At times a condition like that can flare-up and you get a pain/inflammation episode. The trick is to avoid those. Overuse can cause that, so can certain kinds of on the field collisions (which is what probably happened in the Phil game). The flare-up dies down, the guy recovers, he can still play. Faulk did it, Holt did it, Gurley did it for a lot of 2018 (until the December episode). You can manage it with training (eg. strengthening leg muscles that take the load off the knee) and with "load management" when the player is on the field.
Given all that here are the 2 views that are most likely wrong:
1. That Gurley is one step away from done, he's a goner, the knee hobbled him.
2. That he does not have an arthritic condition. If he can play now he doesn't have an arthritic knee and never did.
